My (Art) Endeavors

I'll admit it's easy to get lost in my main gallery, which combines studies, doodles, and sporadic "art" pieces. Therefore, I'll list the larger, more notable projects on this website in a digestible structure:

City of God: Fiat Voluntas Dei

A new horror investigation game set in the religious Dark Ages of Western Europe. My first "real" project. I was randomly contacted by anon (ink_adventures) who saw my posts online and told me about his vision of a roleplaying book. He introduced himself as a writer and wanted illustrator for his project. And since i had nothing to lose i accepted.

The team was basically me (drawing, designing, quality assurance) and Fin (idea guy, writer, boss). There were other 3 people involved, but their contributions were so minor you might as well overlook them. The work on the project lasted roughly 4 months (with breaks) and i would call it minor success. Majority of my artwork here was used in the final PDF document.

"You are defined by your belief in God. Faith is a measure of how great that belief may be, and how deep it will go. In the end, only your faith will protect you."

Mom's Boutique

A digitalized collection of 36 fashion models and about 430 apparels for them. These were originally made by my mom. More details inside.

It would be a shame to throw this all out like the rest of the garbage!

Pen Mania

One of the biggest (dis)advantages of drawing traditionaly on paper or canvas is the broad selection of tools and materials. And if the artist is even somewhat serious about his hobby, they will sooner or later ask the same question as me: which tools are the best? So which fountain pen is the best pen?

Home made Ink

While i was aimlessly procrastinating on Youtube, i came across a video guide about making your own ink. Such a silly idea: to make your own ink when the professional grade costs a dollar per bottle. I had to try it out myself.

Maximizing ROI

Cutting costs and boosting productivity: Analyzing the cost effectiveness of traditional toolsets for my canvas.

Not long after I set a goal for myself to begin sketching half of my studies in traditional media, my mind came up with a reasonable riddle to solve: what is the most cost-effective drawing tool? Disposable ballpoint pen, pencil, or ink? There's only a one way to find out:

Looking for cheapest drawing tool and my conclusion.

Eye Correction

Myopia, also known as near-sightedness and short-sightedness is not as permanent or as inevitable as popular science claims it to be. Rumors claim it can be reversed with just a bit of patience. That means you or me can ultimately ditch our glasses!

This is not exactly drawing project, but for drawing one needs to actually see. So it lowkey belongs on my blog!
